Kathrine Lee I am certain there is a resounding “WELL DONE!” in heaven today for Zig! He has influenced so many with the Truth. He left a lasting legacy!
Zig was born in November, ‘graduated’ in November and I first met him in November…1976. He was the star of the show in a massive Positive Thinking Rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I was one of 11,700 in the audience and he held us spellbound, easily eclipsing the big names on the platform with him that day. I’m so grateful that Zig was my friend and role model. His legacy has made this a better world.
Zig, At one of your events, you said that when you die, that is the greatest promotion you could want. Congratulations, on your recent promotion. Thanks for all of the inspiration that you gave to many.
I saw Zig in person for the first time the week just after 9/11 outside of Chicago. Other speakers bailed on the program but NOT Zig! He showed up and blew the crowd away! I have read almost everything he’s written and listened to his recordings hundreds of times. The best thing about him was that he lived what he taught. My prayers go out to his family today, especially his wife Jean. We are ALL better for having Zig in our world. God Bless you, Zig Ziglar!
I temporarily lost my Hero this morning. Besides Jesus, no man has had as much impact on my life as Zig Ziglar. I expect he is rejoicing with his daughter in Heaven right now. If you’ve never heard him speak or read any of his books, you owe it to yourself. There aren’t many who walk their talk like Zig did.

My book, radio show, website, are all title, “I Was Born To Win”. Why? Because when I was at my lowest, Zig kept telling me I was born to win. I finally started believing him, and what a ride it’s been! Joe SabahI never had the privilege of meeting the great Zig Ziglar, but I am reminded of something I heard him say on tape or maybe I read it. He talked about coming home and walking in the door and smelling the aroma of sweet potatoes baking in the oven. This was a man who valued the love of family and appreciated the simple things in life. He leaves us with the sweet aroma of a life lived well in honor of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Today is the ultimate “See You at the Top” day for a precious saint of God. Judy Pin
